Distant Vision Studios has been dismantling slowly during past year. (post-GK syndrome). After long slow process of ... decaying. Its time to turn of the machinery and call it quit. This will only mean that Distant Vision Studios will end its Web page activity and slide back into the shadows where it came from, so many years ago.
So basicly this means that any day now (might take days, weeks or months) this site will vanish from existence. The exact time cannot be predicted because it is determined by how fast all "underground" "programs" can be evacuated and moved to new web server. Anyhow. Its been intresting few years but its now time to close the doors and rethink about it all.
Rock hard!

In past few months i (Samuli) have been helping this lad from GB on making 4x4 game. Well i didnt do much for the game. I made the car model and maybe gave few encouraging words for the maker Alex. but the game is now finished and available for download from here. |

Yes its now possible easy. All you need is to be in Filand (hmm, might work out there too) and go to newly opened http://www.indietaivas.fi (old finfilms) and skim movie made by us from there and use the attached SMS system to send message to the service provider and just like magic. Soon our film will appear on the frontpage. The message costs about 2€. And it goes into supporting Finnish Independent film movement.

The original Distant Vision Studios Filming is now 3 years old. Pretty much exactly 3 years ago Stalingrad 1943 was released (15.5.05 @ Finfilms) which kinda was milestone for the films under DVS. After the initial succes (i think it was succes) the road has been harder and full of all sorts of trouble. I just had to remember back today to Stalingrad 1943. Those were easier days and future looked a lot better than now.

Thanks for all visitors. We have got over 20 000 visitors. In few years... i still dont know is it much or not. But to me personally it feels like many when thinking about what we have to offer on these pages.
